Lost City of Palestine (Palestine, Indiana—Lawrence County’s first county seat town)
Adventures by Roger
As much as this sounds like science fiction, this is exactly what happened to the town of Palestine, Indiana, just southeast of modern day Bedford. Some say it was bad planning, some say it was just a pandemic, and others claim it was all due to a curse, after an ancient burial ground was disturbed. Come along for an epic story, one that many local residents don’t know about, and fewer people tell as the years go by. For the first time on film, learn about an ancient people that once dwelt above the White River, up to 10,000 years ago, and simply vanished; just like the people who tried to settle there later, in the early 1800’s. The lost city of Palestine: a mysterious place that still holds many secrets.
