Aug. 17, 2013 – How to get the word out: How to plan and prepare communications about your big event.  Choose to create an invitation, flyer, poster or press release.
Aug. 24, 2013 – What ‘s wild in Lawrence County: A look at the native wildlife both plant and animal.
Aug. 31, 2013 – Pet extravaganza: Featuring, guests, Dog Trot with prizes.  Experts, and folks “who know” to visit.  Pet show.
Sept. 7, 2013 – Sharks! Puzzles, games, quizzes. Make Mega Mouth. Make a shark tooth necklace.
Sept. 14, 2013 – Clues in stone: Visit predetermined downtown sites to look for “clues” to help solve a limestone riddle.  Return to museum for related games and events.
Sept. 21, 2013 – Up in the sky: Explore the Isom comet, meteor showers and other things happening in your night sky.
Sept. 28, 2013 – Pioneer day 2—Husking corn, making quilts, churning butter, making applesauce, soap-to-go and many other projects.

Dec. 14, 2013 – December the 25th: Celebrate an old fashioned Christmas.  Play old games, sample recipes of tasty treats.  Make an ornament from reclaimed and repurposed items.  Make your own wrapping paper.
Dec. 21, 2013 – Look out! Here comes 2014: Making plans for the New Year.  Trivia quiz about 2013.  Prizes and surprise quests.
Dec. 28, 2013 – Drop through time: Spending some moments in 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.  Look at the styles, what was newsworthy.  Visits from some “time travelers.”
