DOWNTON ABBEY TEA PARTY
Lawanna Morris, second from left as the baker, might have been called Mrs. Patmore. She created a lovely tea party preparing the luscious baked goods, providing the table service and wait staff, and she brought into existence a delightful event. Many of the tea party guests came dressed in period fashions.
Several types of teas were served. Scones, shortbread cookies, petit fours, finger sandwiches and fresh fruits were provided by Lawanna Morris and Becky Buher.
Guests enjoyed watching an issue from the 2014 season of Downton Abbey.

Becky Buher dressed the mannequin in a 1930s dress which belonged to her mother, Mildred Parham Corya. Becky is holding a picture of Mildred.
A vintage fox stole adorned this coat.
After the tea party, guests departed for their homes to watch the 2015 season premier of Downton Abbey . Many were heard to say—they had a wonderful time and hoped the museum would host similar events.
